VANCOUVER, WA — Today, Carolyn Long, candidate for Congress in Washington’s 3rd Congressional district, launched a new television ad, Bought. The new 30 second ad explains how Jaime Herrera Beutler sold out Southwest Washington in exchange for 1.6 million dollars in corporate PAC donations, voting in the interests of her donors, and buying into Donald Trump.
“Jaime Herrera Beutler is bought off by corporate interests; bought into Donald Trump, and sold out Southwest Washington,” said Abby Olmstead, Long’s Campaign Manager. “We need fresh, new leadership— and Carolyn Long is that leader.”
“Long can’t be bought. This November, Southwest Washington has a choice: Jaime Herrera Beutler, who spent the past 10 years voting in favor of corporate interests, or Carolyn Long, who refuses corporate PAC money and is committed to Southwest Washington,” said Olmstead.
